Case Study
Produced from idea to premiere in just three months, The Last Ones Out is a surf film celebrating the beauty, grace, and strength of San Diego's women longboarders. The project grew into a fully self-produced film festival in Pacific Beach — complete with five DJs, three live bands, charity raffles, and screenings of three original films.
The festival sold out with over 200 attendees. Shortly after, the film was selected from more than 6,000 international submissions for the San Diego International Film Festival, where it won Best Short in its category.
